Located in Brisbane, Australia, Snack On is the collective practice of Björn Rust and Surya Graf. Formed to explore the application of materials and processes, experimental and established, to our independently fabricated products.
Motivated by the freedom and simplicity of a web-based design consultancy, Snack On allows us to pursue a more irreverent approach to product development than our bread and butter projects. We favour guerrilla advertising, pop-up distribution and pufferfish principles.

Half Wallet Prototypes
These are the first two prototypes of our reclaimed canvas half wallets. While we investigate material options and fine tune the pattern, we have each taken a sample to use to destruction.

Surya has been experimenting with new ways to make use of Spare Tire off cuts. These cuffs are just one of many solutions floating around the studio.

This provides a little insight into our screen printing process. Its an accessible and entertaining process which provides great results with little experience, we highly recommend trying it for yourself.

We have began preparing a run of t-shirts that we will be sporting for Saturday Indesign in Sydney later this month.
New Finish
We have been experimenting with some new finishes, which have yielded interesting results. This particular finish is produced by slip casting and firing the shape and applying a white glaze, which is fired a second time. Finally, the silver glaze is applied and fired for a third time.
More Light
In addition to the standard Lab Light, we are considering other fittings.

Spare Tire Spot
As keen cyclists we are always looking for an excuse to spend more of our day riding. In an effort to try something a little different we are currently working on a spot for Spare Tire .
Code Name Cankle
We have prepared pant straps for the gentleman track bike rider. They will be given out as prizes this weekend at the formal launch of Gear Brisbane.
Installed
Dispite hail and raising flood waters, we have completed the istallation of our Pop-Up shop, Proceed to Checkout. It is now open for business at Objx with an official launch on the 27th.
